The newest original musical comedy comes from the celebrated mind of Pamela Stephenson Connolly with music by award winning composer Dan Krysa- The team that brought you the wildly successful ‘Bum Farto’!

The show is based on a widely-followed internet meme: ‘Florida Man’ is an infamous, fantasy character derived from the ubiquitous, true media reports of inane, laughable, often substance-fueled and frequently unlawful behavior by residents of the ‘Sunshine State’. The show tracks the hilarious antics of six unruly Floridians: among them a psychotic meth-head, a plushophiliac with an erotic interest in Olaf dolls, a man whose girlfriend Gwendolyn happens to be an alligator and… of course… a guy who stole the conch trolley because it was his birthday. Their crazy foibles are tracked by a British wildlife TV presenter who is intent on capturing Homo sapiens Floridanus (‘Florida Man’) in his natural habitat. Their idiotic pursuits prevail until the gang’s iconic Founder - the ghost of brilliant writer and dope fiend Hunter S. Thompson - intervenes in Machiavellian style and has to be reigned in by the late Jimmy Buffett (the only voice of reason in a minefield of manic imbecility)

The show features 18 songs by exceptional singers, and 16 dance numbers from the talented KWIDC dance company.
